Letter Writing

 We are learning to recognise emotions around receiving and sending a letter.

When I received a letter was on my birthday and it was from my Nana and my Granddad and it made me fell happy and excited and they said that they are coming to see me soon and so i get to see my dad and my Nana and my Granddad and i got happy and kinda nervous because i haven't seen them in a year or two and I normally get to see my half brother

 Kia ora whanau my name is Ella I have 4 half brothers and 2 sisters and 3 half sisters I am 11 years old I am a student from blaketown school I have a very large family and i am part maori and a couple things my family likes too do is travel play sports and hangout with our family

I like to play league and I am a centre in league and I am also good at swimming and running i also like to play soccer and netball in school time with friends my goals are too get better at my handwriting and try not too get distracted as easily as i do and learn division and all my times

I am looking forward to do more sport in school and get into more activities and get better at league

Film Festival Commenting

In Room Four, we have been learning how to comment positive and quality blog comments. I've learnt that quality blog comments need to be positive, thoughtful and helpful. We watched Manaiakalani Film Festival entries and made notes about them. We turned these notes into quality blog comments.We practised making quality blog comments on different school blogs.

We made a DLO which had  comments about different aspects of the films that we watched. You can read those comments
